Support Team

Always friendly and thorough, the GoodTherapy.org support team is dedicated to helping people find the right therapist, to addressing the needs of members, and to ensuring a positive user experience to each person who visits our website.

  • Greg Caulfield    Member Support Director

Greg brings over 13 years of retail and sales management experience to his position as GoodTherapy.org’s member support director. Prior to joining the GoodTherapy.org team, he worked most recently for Harley-Davidson, where he learned the value of building relationships with customers and delivering personalized service. Greg now utilizes his experience managing teams to direct and support GoodTherapy.org's member support team in their work responding to and addressing member calls and emails in a prompt, compassionate, and helpful manner.

When Greg isn’t working or studying—he’s pursuing a bachelor’s degree from The Evergreen State College—he likes to exercise, hike, camp, and do pretty much anything outside. He is very close with his friends and family and loves to spend as much time with them as possible. He is also a huge football fan. Go Seahawks!

  • Kris Clark    Full Stack Program Manager

Kris joined the GoodTherapy.org team in August 2014 after graduating from The Evergreen State College with dual bachelor degrees in business administration and computer science. Having cultivated his interest in technology from a young age, Kris brings a wealth of knowledge to the organization. His past experience includes helping to develop an application for NASA, creating and managing multiple websites, and programming several mobile games.

  • Lindsay Tompkins    Member Support

Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Lindsay moved to Olympia in 2013 to be closer to family and experience everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She previously attended Madison College and is close to completing her associate of arts degree from South Puget Sound Community College. Lindsay has several years of experience in customer service, most of which came in call centers. She was also a personal banker for M&I Bank.

In 2013, Lindsay participated in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) “Out of the Darkness” walk for suicide awareness, an issue that she (like many others) has been personally affected by.

Lindsay has two "kids": a dog named Tika and a cat named Snoopy. She enjoys meeting new people, seeing new places, and spending as much time as possible with her family. Besides showing her support for the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers, she loves going to movies (she has a collection of ticket stubs), watching various tutorials on YouTube, cooking, and playing board games.

  • Evan Grotsky    Member Support

Evan was born and raised in Olympia, Washington. She is one course away from completing her Associate of Arts degree from South Puget Sound Community College, the first of what Evan hopes will be many academic milestones as she cultivates her passion to learn.

Evan has several years of experience working as a nursing assistant in long-term care facilities, as well as providing in-home care. While caring for people with Alzheimer's and other issues, her interest in mental health and psychology deepened. She is especially fascinated by the influence of socio-cultural factors on mental health. She decided to switch her focus from nursing to psychology and sociology, and hopes to continue her education at The Evergreen State College.

In the meantime, Evan balances being a student with her work at GoodTherapy.org. She identifies as a "people person" and enjoys assisting members of our directory as well as the numerous potential therapy clients who call. Her nickname around the office is "Unicorn," and she once received a trophy for being "best mythical creature." She cherishes the award and strives to always live up to her title.

When she's not neck-deep in textbooks and customer support emails, Evan enjoys watching bad reality television, people watching, working out at the gym, spending time with family and her friends, and spoiling her Norwegian Forest Cat, Moomintroll.

  • Ryan Spurrier    Member Support

Born in Visalia, California, Ryan has called Olympia, Washington home for the majority of his life. He’s played in many local bands and continues to pursue music as a passion and hobby.

Prior to joining GoodTherapy.org, Ryan worked in the customer service field for many years. Whether it was making pizzas, pouring drinks, or management, he learned what it meant to build strong relationships with people from every walk of life.

In his downtime, Ryan enjoys sports, video games, traveling, and relaxing with his wife and two cats.

  • Valerie Santa Maria    Member Support

Valerie brings to GoodTherapy.org a strong background in helping people. This includes over 10 years in customer support roles, as well as five years in management and experience working for nonprofit agencies as an advocate.

A native Californian who was raised in Mt. Shasta, Valerie moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1994 to be near her family. Both of her parents are deaf, and she is fluent in both sign language and Spanish.

Valerie loves the outdoors, walking her dog Roxy, swimming at the lake, hiking, barbecues, and going out to the theater. She also teaches classes on the benefits of essential oils. She and her husband just bought a kayak and are excited to learn how to use it.

In addition to Roxy, she has two other “fur babies”: cats Sassy and Estrella (which means “star” in Spanish).
