Noah Rubinstein, LMFT CEO and Founder -
Ellen Saline Human Resources Director
Ellen earned her bachelor's degree in cultural anthropology (with minors in communications and political science) from Western Washington University. She spent her early career working in politics, running two state legislative campaigns and the office of a state legislator in Olympia, Washington.
When she isn't working, Ellen spends time with her family. She has two amazing children: a stepson and a baby girl she and her husband welcomed into their family in 2014. The family enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, and backpacking. They are also big baseball fans, and can be found at all of her stepson's Little League games as well as the occasional Seattle Mariners game.

Micaela Bicknell Administrative Assistant
Micaela, a future bestselling author and right nifty gal, serves the GoodTherapy.org team in an administrative role. She brings over 20 years of customer support experience to her work at GoodTherapy.org.
Micaela is working on obtaining her associate of arts degree in English, learning two languages (Spanish and Russian), and indulging her passion for writing. She hopes to eventually publish a series of books and have them adapted for the big screen.
When she’s not working, studying, or writing, Micaela spends her time surfing the Internet, reading, and crocheting baby blankets and scarves. She's a hard-working mom of two, a loyal friend, and wife to a mysterious man.

Kobe Rubinstein Chief Playful Officer
When GoodTherapy.org was launched, Kobe was 18 weeks old and in the 95th percentile for height, weight, and cheeks. At the time, Kobe enjoyed being held by his mommy and daddy, staring at bright lights, staying awake as long as possible, laughing, kicking his legs like a frog in the bath tub, making poopy pants, and having a good cry. He is now 9 years old, and some things haven't changed. :)
In addition, Kobe now loves paper airplanes, baseball, riding his bike, and asking his father endless trivia questions, such as: "How many playgrounds are there in the world?"

Niko Rubinstein Head of Security
When Niko was 10 months old, he would smile at everyone he saw, including dogs and some stuffed animals. He almost never closed his mouth and, if not for his chronic feeding, probably would have been dehydrated from the never-ending flow of drool from his mouth. Niko spent months perfecting his crawl and making daredevil attempts at walking. He had eagle vision for anything smaller than a penny, and having spotted a potential choking hazard he would urgently crawl closer to whatever it was so he could intensely study the scrap, running it through his fingers before putting it in his mouth. Disregarding the Paper Napkin Incident, Niko had not yet started on solid foods.
Now, at 6 years old, Niko remains the life of the party. He maintains his happy demeanor but is entertaining the delusion that he is a police officer deputized to arrest anyone who is mean.
Noah is one of the strongest voices advocating for ethical mental health treatment and challenging the application of the medical and pathology-based models within mental health. Noah has worked with individuals, couples, and families for 25-plus years in various social service, counseling, and consultation roles within different communities, including mental health clinics, residential treatment centers, emergency shelters, hospice organizations, home-based therapy programs, summer camps, the Los Angeles Unified School District, and in private practice.
The holder of a master's degree in counseling psychology from Humboldt State University, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Counselor, Noah strives to expand the visibility and reach of GoodTherapy.org in an effort to counter the tendency within the mental health field to view people as deficient and fundamentally flawed. The vision of GoodTherapy.org and Noah's efforts have been featured extensively in the media, including numerous radio and television interviews and print articles.
When not at the office, Noah is usually fighting off his nine and seven year old boys, Kobe and Niko, who like to wrestle him any chance they get.
TL;DR: Noah is so awesome. He runs a website and drinks lots of coffee. :)
