I provide individual and family therapy to those struggling with infertility, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I specialize in working with those who are struggling with infertility, anxiety, grief and loss, perinatal and postnatal issues. As your therapist, we will collaborate to help you learn new coping skills and to help you reach your goals. Anxiety, depression, grief, and anger are emotions that are in all of us. Experiences and trauma can cause these emotions to surface. I see these rise often in infertility and loss, family building, life transitions, and in relationships from the past or present. I can help you work through these feelings and to help you get emotionally healthy again! I specialize in those who are having anger, depression, grief, and in children with behavior problems. I teach parenting skills to enhance parent-child bonding. I help families and couples improve communication, which leads to healthy relationships.
I help adults, teenagers, and couples effectively manage depression, anger, unhealthy addictions, and the anxiety & stress. Through talk therapy, we identify the negative thoughts, experiences, and beliefs that are causing your pain. The way you perceive yourself, others, and the world impacts how you experience life. As a Level 3 TEAM CBT therapist, I specialize in helping you understand your painful feelings and change the way you think (and ultimately feel). I really take a whole person philosophy, giving consideration to mental, emotional, social, spiritual, and physical health. With an end goal to help my clients live a more fulfilling life, I recognize the importance of motivation and finds it critical to explore meaning and purpose in my clients' lives. Change is really hard, especially when you are in pain. Know that you are not alone!

I work with clients struggling with unhealthy coping skills and dysfunctional survival traits as an adaptation to a deeper issue. Those struggling with personality challenges, codependency, trauma, obsessive-compulsive (OCD), anxiety, perfectionism, and eating challenges are among my areas of expertise. Trauma populations include, but are not limited to, sexual trauma, military trauma, spiritual trauma, emotional trauma, physical trauma, neglect, and abandonment. I am trained in many types of therapy and have an eclectic approach. I provide psychoeducation from a mindful perspective, utilizing eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and trauma-informed approaches to further enhance and address the goals of the individual. Some other types of services I offer are Gottman Method, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), somatic therapy, and trauma-informed yoga. If somebody is in a situation they cannot get out of themselves, and they are willing to reach out at this time, I am happy to meet and discuss options for treatment. I am willing to refer clients to appropriate levels of care or other specialists, if necessary. My goal is to provide the best care for the individual.

You might feel that connection slipping through your fingers, like a spark that’s slowly fading into a quiet, persistent ache. There was a time when laughter filled your days and passion flowed effortlessly, a natural rhythm between you. But now, it’s as if you’re navigating this relationship alone. No matter how much you try—how much heart you pour in—it doesn’t seem to land, doesn’t bring back what you once had. You’re exhausted, worn thin from giving to something that no longer seems to meet you halfway. And if you’re honest with yourself, you miss the intimacy—the closeness, the sex, the way it used to knit you together so seamlessly. I’m so sorry you’re holding this pain. I hear these raw, tender struggles often from couples who sit with me, and I want you to know something important: I see you, truly. It doesn’t have to feel this heavy forever. That fire, that deep sense of peace you’ve been longing for—it’s not out of reach. I’m here to walk this journey beside you, not as someone with all the answers, but as a partner in this process. Whether it’s repairing the jagged wounds of infidelity or rekindling a flame that’s dwindled over time, healing is possible. It’s not a straight line, and it’s not always easy, but it begins with you—your strength, your willingness to imagine something better. I’m not here to judge or push; I’m here to listen deeply, to offer tools shaped to your unique story, and to guide you toward a relationship that feels alive again. You’ve already come this far, which tells me you have resilience you might not even recognize yet. If you’re ready to take that next step, I’m ready to step forward with you. Picture this: waking up tomorrow with a flicker of hope in your chest, a sense of direction pointing toward the life and relationship you both deserve. Why let that wait another day? You don’t have to stay stuck, hoping things magically shift. Change can start right now—real, meaningful change. Healing takes courage, and it’s not a solo endeavor. Together, we can uncover what’s been buried, rebuild what’s faded, and create something stronger than before. You deserve more than exhaustion and disconnection. You deserve a partnership that lifts you up, that fills your cup instead of draining it dry. Take that brave first step today. Call me or visit my website to begin—there’s no pressure, no obligation, just an open door to ask questions, share where you’re at, and explore what’s possible. Let’s turn that ache into hope, that hope into action. Reach out now, and let’s get started.
You're likely here because you're stuck in some way. Others seem to be "living life" in the way you wish you could, but can’t. Something's in the way. This feeling may have come about after a dramatic change in your life- a loss of a relationship, role, or life situation. Or, it may feel as if this is coming from nowhere, with no rhyme or reason. “I have no reason to be feeling this way, but I can’t help it." Often, beginning to understand exactly what is going on for you can be an incredibly meaningful experience in and of itself. Whether you are experiencing anxious or depressive symptoms, there are often root causes or experiences contributing to the way you feel. We have all been shaped by our past experiences, and at times, these experiences need to be revisited in order to work through their effects in the present. That being said, therapy with me will be past, present, and future focused. The aim is to help you build life-enriching inner resources that will continue to foster your flourishing well after you are ready to leave therapy. We will not be after temporary results with surface-level fixes, but after deep growth that is lasting and meaningful. To not be living the life you want to be living can be a painful experience whether you're "clinically depressed", "clinically anxious", or not. To feel as if you can not figure it out or make yourself feel better is frustrating and can make you wonder if things will ever change. Call or message me today to schedule a free 30 minute video consultation to see how I may be able to help.

Providing video therapy exclusively for the US states listed below. I like to help people change their lives. Most of the time we go along doing things the way we already know how to do them, and it's a rare and beautiful thing when someone has the courage to look at how they're living and to make a change. That change might be accepting who they are; it may be changing how they live; and it may be some of both. No matter which, I have a deep respect for the work my clients do. Sometimes the change is about a situation--confirming that a partner is abusive--but most of the time the change is an "inside job": "Why do I keep choosing abusive relationships?...have a hard time expressing my feelings?...push away the people who love me?...drink too much?...always feel dissatisfied?" I like to work with my client's experience "in the moment" (uh oh, woo woo alert!). What I mean is that I'll ask clients to slow down and pay attention to what's happening with their emotions and in their bodies as they're talking about something important. I believe that paying attention to that experience in the moment can lead us to profound insights and deep change. During a decade as a college counseling center director and another couple decades in private practice, I've worked with a huge variety of concerns. I don't have a strong preference for this issue or that; I just like to work with people who want to collaborate in a full partnership, who are willing to explore their immediate experience, and who long for meaningful change.
