My Approach to Helping
Greetings. Finding an experienced psychotherapist that is the right fit for you is a highly personal decision. I offer psychotherapy in an environment that not only feels comfortable, but also safe. I enjoy working with individuals and couples and my approach is practical, open-minded, authentic, respectful, and engaging. My goal is to help you develop a greater capacity to deal effectively with the immediate symptoms, problems, or crises that are causing you difficulty in your life.
I am experienced at helping people with a wide range of problems including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, interpersonal issues, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, sexual concerns, and health issues. Some people make use of psychotherapy to come to terms with repetitive distressing patterns such as panic disorders, poor self-esteem, or overall dissatisfaction. Many people want help in developing even greater insight and understanding about themselves and seek more intensive psychotherapy in which we can meet multiple times a week.
