My approach in therapy is collaborative, supportive, and goal oriented.
I work with couples and individuals, and specialize in relationship issues, coping with medical illnesses, grief and loss, health behavior and lifestyle changes, life stress and transitions (including marriage, separation and divorce, infertility, work stress, life stage concerns, etc), anxiety, depression, and ADHD. A supportive and non-judgmental relationship is crucial to any effective individual or couples therapy. In creating a safe place to explore and understand where you might feel stuck, I help you learn new ways to communicate and interact in relationships, cope with life stresses and losses, deal with difficult emotions, and shift behaviors and patterns that may no longer work in your life. I view each person or couple holistically, and provide individualized interventions integrating approaches that are supported by research in order to help you gain insights, learn new communication and coping skills, and ultimately make lasting changes in your life. I am certified in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and have advanced training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (GMT), as well extensive training in health psychology, behavioral medicine, bereavement counseling, child and pediatric psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness based approaches, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and insight meditation. I have also worked and published in the areas of women's health and ADHD.
I am a skilled and compassionate psychotherapist who offers virtual crisis and intensive outpatient psychotherapy services at Willow Health. I see individuals with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns. I believe in developing a partnership with you to maintain and improve lifelong health.
Therapy is not one size fits all and it definitely is not a person show. It's more of a team effort. I focus on collaborating with clients to identify and work towards their goals. My sessions are compassionate, genuine, and sprinkled with humor at times. It is essential for me to ensure that my sessions are a place where you can feel comfortable discussing even the most sensitive of topics in a judgment free space. My goal is to help you revive and thrive! I am a Columbia University graduate but the best education has been my 17+ years of experience working with clients. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I have worked with various client populations addressing various concerns including life stressors and transitions, grief or loss, depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, managing chronic illness, Bipolar Disorder and more. I'll be using various approaches and interventions depending on your specific needs and preferences. Some common interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, Object Relations Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Strengths Based Approach, Family Systems Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. Sessions can also be provided in Spanish and Portuguese.
I have supported individuals and familes through using an empathetic and transparent counseling style. I enjoy utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help individuals through their specific therapeutic goals. In my spare time, I eenjoy spending time outdoors with friends and family.

You may be at a threshold, where the old ways of coping—over-functioning, perfectionism, people-pleasing—no longer feel sustainable. You’re longing for more authenticity, more ease, more connection to yourself and your truth. I work with those who feel called to go deeper—who sense their symptoms are not just problems to solve, but invitations into a more authentic, meaningful way of being.
Self-discovery and growth can feel scary; as a therapist, it's my role to support you. My approach is to help clients move through emotional discomfort, challenge unhealthy beliefs, and explore who they are while providing compassion and acceptance. Together, we can work in a solution-focused manner to help you recognize the patterns in your life or relationships that may be holding you back. I’m a trauma-informed therapist who works with individuals and couples with optimism and understanding about the challenges they face.
I am a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist. I offer an warm and compassionate approach that allows individuals, couples and families to explore issues that they feel they are getting suck in and interfere with their ability to navigate life challenges. I am also trained in AEDP and IFS as well as Somatic Experienced therapy.
I'm a licensed professional counselor experienced in working with adults of all ages and walks of life who are facing life transitions, struggling with self-esteem, feeling stuck and “going nowhere,” or coping with past trauma. Therapy with me is collaborative, centering you as the expert in your own life. My role may vary — compassionate witness, advocate, or a perspective shift. You’ll be able to tell your story without self-censorship, interact with difficult parts of yourself as helpful messengers rather than enemies, and experience a brave space for designing lasting change.
You’ve always been the strong one. The responsible one. The one who holds everything together. It worked for a long time — but now the anxiety, pressure, and internal tension are harder to ignore. You may react quickly in conflict or shut down when overwhelmed. You might feel perfectionistic in your work, relationships, or how you present yourself. You want to understand why this is happening, where this comes from, and how to actually feel grounded instead of constantly performing “being okay.” I work with high-achieving Latina adults navigating anxiety rooted in childhood roles, attachment wounds, and cultural expectations. We explore how your past shaped your nervous system, your relationships, and your internal voice. We build nervous-system regulation skills so you can respond instead of react — and develop a calmer, more secure sense of self. Therapy with me is warm, steady, reflective, and trauma-informed. There’s no pressure to rush — we go at your pace. You get space to feel, integrate, and practice new ways of being that are not defined by your past or by expectations placed on you. You don’t have to carry this alone anymore. If you’re ready to feel more connected, more grounded, and more yourself — I’m here. Licensed in: New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Fully remote telehealth.
I am truly passionate about supporting my clients in their process to gain deeper self-understanding and to foster personal growth through self-compassion. I work from a place of genuine curiosity about my client’s lives and relationships, respecting each person’s path as unique. I take a warm, supportive, and collaborative approach, using the information you present (or, in some cases, avoid) to help you make sense of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may undermine your relationships and productivity. Though I am trained in a variety of therapies, I primarily work from a psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral perspective. I may also draw upon other complementary practical approaches, such as mindfulness skills based on your needs and goals. Whether you are holding on to limiting beliefs or old narratives that no longer apply, whether you are seeking more joy in life or yearning for more fulfilling relationships, embarking on the journey of self-discovery with a compassionate and accepting other is a powerful first step. I look forward to joining you on that journey.
