I have 15 years of experience specializing in infant, early childhood, perinatal, and adult mental health. I work with children from birth to 6 years old, parents during prenatal and postpartum periods, and adults in all stages of life. I am passionate about working with neurodiverse children and adults; providing parenting support and strengthening parent-child relationships; and exploring and understanding early attachment relationships. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic principles and is individually tailored to promote reflection, emotion regulation, and healing. I offer Individual Psychotherapy to adults who are experiencing a range of issues including adjusting to life transitions, anxiety, depression, addiction, problems with relationships or work, and those seeking to find balance in their lives. As a psychodynamic therapist, my primary focus is to help gain insight into emotional and relational patterns that lay as the foundation of mental health, rather than treating individual symptoms. Early childhood services include Child-Parent Play Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Play-Based Developmental Therapy. Play therapy provides a unique environment where children are given the opportunity to increase self-awareness and self-confidence, understand their thoughts and feelings, become resilient and adaptable, learn to manage big emotions in healthy ways, develop age-appropriate coping skills, and adjust to life events and transitions. Through Parent Support and Coaching, I work with parents to understand and develop new skills and strategies for addressing concerns in behavior and development. Parenting babies, toddlers, and preschool-age children is hard! Every child is different, and they don't come with their instruction manuals. Through perinatal psychotherapy and parent-infant psychotherapy, I help parents who may be stressed, overwhelmed, or ambivalent; may not feel bonded with their baby; parents who are easily distressed by fussiness; parents with depression anxiety; and parents who experienced birth trauma or infant loss. My training as both a Perinatal Mental Health Specialist and an Infant Mental Health Specialist provides me with a unique perspective and understanding of how perinatal anxiety and depression affect both parent and baby and the importance of including the baby in treatment, when appropriate.
UPDATE 11-4-25: Accepting new clients! Please message me to set up a consultation. Living with chronic illness, loving someone who does, or navigating the aftermath of medical trauma can leave you feeling isolated, misunderstood, and disconnected from your body. I know this not just as a therapist—but as someone who has lived it. Born with a congenital heart condition, I’ve endured extensive testing, open-heart surgery, and the emotional toll that comes with it. I understand the fear of a body that feels unfamiliar, the exhaustion of self-advocacy, and the grief of adjusting to a life you didn’t plan for. Over the past decade, I’ve helped individuals from all walks of life rewrite old narratives, heal emotional wounds, and reclaim their worth. No matter what life has thrown at you, I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where all parts of you are welcome. If you’re ready to walk your path with greater peace, I would be honored to walk beside you. It’s why I’m passionate about supporting others on similar paths—those living with chronic pain, health anxiety, autoimmune conditions, or the emotional impact of medical trauma and caregiving. You are not alone in this. Your story, your questions, and your healing deserve space and compassion. Together, we’ll gently process what you’ve carried, explore unresolved grief, and reconnect with your strength and inner wisdom. In a grounded, sacred space, we’ll nurture peace, clarity, and hope—even in the unknown. You deserve to be supported by someone who truly understands.
Battling anxiety day in and out is exhausting. You’re tired of imagining worst-case-scenarios and can’t seem to turn off the constant "what if" thoughts. Feelings of discomfort or panic may be leading you to avoid certain places or situations, and it’s difficult to make sense of why this is happening in the first place. Hearing things like, "it's all in your head," or "don't worry so much," makes us feel even worse, like somehow anxiety is our fault. I want to assure you, anxiety is not a choice or something we can just will away. If it was that simple, anxiety wouldn't be the most common mental health diagnosis in the entire U.S. So many of us have been there, including me! I want to help empower you to gain relief from anxiety and reclaim control of your life. Please know that positive change is possible, and within reach. Can you imagine the liberating feeling of making choices based on your values, rather than your fears? I specialize in helping people overcome anxiety and take back control of their lives. My clients often share how much they appreciate my authentic, warm approach, as well as the significant changes they've been able to accomplish through our work together. Contact me on Good Therapy or visit my website for a free 15-minute phone consultation. You can ask any questions and explore if I'm a good fit for you (if not, I'm always happy to assist with referrals). Anxiety is treatable, and you deserve support! While starting something new can be scary, I’m here to make the process as comfortable as possible.

My ideal client is a teenager or young adult who is struggling with self-identity, transitional life periods, or relationship challenges. They may feel lost or overwhelmed by the pressures of school or family expectations. They may feel the need to gain confidence, build emotional resilience, and learn healthy coping strategies. Their goal is to feel more secure in who they are, develop stronger communication skills, and create meaningful connections with others, all while managing stress and improving their overall mental well-being. With over 8 years of experience working with adolescents and young adults, I can help my clients navigate the different difficulties that come up in this phase of life. I help my clients by providing a non-judgmental and collaborative space to explore thoughts and emotions. I use evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care to foster self-awareness, promote personal growth, and build emotional regulation.

Every individual is a compilation of their genetics, early learned behavior, primary identifications, patterning, and life experience. Psychotherapy is a guide to identifying and mapping these factors, appreciating the ones that serve well as well as learning to work with and restructure those that, born of dysfunction, continue to cause unhappiness and anxiety. Psychotherapy is a mutual process, where a therapist acts as pilot for navigating what is brought by the patient - the co-pilot. It is the patient's job to think about and gradually share their experiences and thoughts while it is the therapist's job to listen carefully, comment effectively, and guide the patient to a better understanding of the lines that have shaped them. Verbalization leads to consciousness, and the chance to choose alternate ways of coping with situations and relationships. Out of cognition comes actions which lead to character changes. These can help a person to better reach their life goal and personal fulfillment, be these goals relationship, career, familial, financial or spiritual.
I am committed to providing empathetic treatment that progresses at your pace. We will work together collaboratively to identify goals and make a plan to achieve them. It is important for me to provide you with a warm and genuine experience in therapy in order to feel comfortable and not judged. My passion as a therapist is to help facilitate your healing and personal growth.
Do you feel like you don’t have a space that is meant for you in this world? “Normal" has never been where you fit in, and that’s fine with you. But you are more than a little tired of holding up the mask you wear and seeming so resilient when you’re really just exhausted. So you want to explore deeper within yourself and be true to who you are. You want a better relationship with yourself and those you are around, whether friends, family, or romantic partners. You can improve and grow your relationships. You can absolutely learn new skills and strengthen what’s already there. It might be really fucking difficult, but you’ve gotten this far, haven’t you? All of the resources to be the best you are already there. They’re just waiting to be unlocked. But you don’t have to do it all alone. I can help. Not as some high-and-mighty expert, but as your guide. Because I’ve been there too. I know how hard it is to balance all of your competing needs. I’m Latina, autistic, and an ADHDer. I get it. My goal is to provide counseling, psychotherapy and treatment for individuals, couples and families struggling with a variety of psychological and mental health issues including stress, relationships, marital problems, depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol, eating disorders, learning disability attention problems etc... As the Coordinator of Campus Alcohol and Substance Awareness at Temple University and as the past Assistant Director of Student Health and Counseling at The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia I have a lot of experience working with clients facing all the above issues and more. I believe that counseling is a collaborative process where clients sort out their thoughts and feelings in order to get a better understanding of who they are. My approach is eclectic or integrative but I use many psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches in my work. I trust that clients know deep down what should be talked about in therapy and that they mostly need help knowing how to access these thoughts and feelings in order to realize what it is they want and need from others and their lives. I am very open to sharing my personal thoughts and experiences as a way of helping others. I find that it often helps patients to know that their therapist is a human being too and much can be learned from the relationship of therapy. Many clients come to a therapists office because they struggling in their relationships. Paying attention to how your relationship develops with your therapist can help you understand how the really important relationships in your life outside of the therapeutic relationship work.
