I have a direct approach to helping people find more peace in their lives. No matter the diagnosis or issue, I tailor my practice to meet you where you are, in each moment.
I treat clients who struggle with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, eating problems, relationship concerns, and school and career difficulties. More generally, I work with clients who suffer from an inability to live life to its fullest and who want a more enriching life. I help clients explore their experience of themselves in relation to their past, present and hopes for the future. Together, we work toward understanding why you think and feel the way you do, as well as uncovering deeper factors that may lie outside of your awareness. This process will create spaces for healing and change. If you would like to experience this process of self-understanding in the context of a caring, supportive relationship, feel free to contact me today.
You may feel stuck navigating anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, or the pressure to always hold it together. I work with folks exploring who they are beneath the roles and expectations placed on them. Many of my clients are LGBTQ+ (teens and adults), neurodivergent, living with chronic illness, or healing from emotionally immature families. Together, we’ll create a warm, collaborative space where you can explore emotions, relationships, and identity.
I see therapy as a space where you can slow down and feel fully seen. My style is warm, relational, and straightforward; I want you to feel comfortable bringing your whole self, without judgment or pressure. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and narrative therapy, weaving them together in a way that fits your unique needs and story. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, carrying cultural or relational stress, or working on strengthening your relationships, I aim to offer steady support, practical tools, and a grounded space to make sense of what you’re going through. Together, we’ll focus on helping you feel more rooted, understood, and able to move forward in ways that feel true to you.
You may be here because you feel overwhelmed. Trauma, eating struggles, and body image concerns can feel heavy and isolating, especially when you’ve also faced rejection or invisibility for being LGBTQ+. It’s exhausting to carry shame, self-doubt, or the sense that your body isn’t a safe place to be. If this sounds familiar, know that you don’t have to go through it alone. I see you, and I can help. I offer a safe, affirming space where all parts of your identity are welcome. As a trauma-informed therapist, I specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals navigating eating challenges, body image concerns, and the lasting impact of trauma. My goal is to meet you with compassion, curiosity, and respect, so you can feel understood and supported as you begin to heal. Our work together is collaborative. In our sessions, we’ll move at your pace. We’ll start by exploring your story, identifying patterns that keep you stuck, and creating a plan that feels safe and meaningful. I use relational and somatic approaches, which means we’ll not only talk about your experiences, but also explore how they live in your body, building new ways of connecting with yourself. Over time, you can expect to release shame, deepen self-trust, and build resilience. Many clients discover more peace with their bodies, more ease in relationships, and a greater sense of authenticity in how they live. Healing isn’t about perfection. Healing is about reclaiming your right to be whole, free, and fully yourself.
Do you find yourself feeling regularly overwhelmed, wanting a place to "let out" your thoughts and what you are going through? My name is Miranda Mulcrone, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work alongside my clients to identify functions behind unwanted thoughts and actions, process events from yesterday or years ago, and explore their values to live a more attuned life. My clients tend to be teenagers, young adults, and adults facing struggles such as anxiety, trauma, self harm suicidal ideation, sexuality, LGBTQ+ issues, relationship issues, stress, and body image disordered eating. I use a client centered, relational approach pulling from modalities such as ACT, DBT, CBT, and Mindfulness through a sex positive, HAES, harm reduction lens to help my clients meet their goals. While I am not here to solve your problems, I strive to provide you skills, validation, humor when appropriate, reflection, and a listening ear without judgement.
Is your daughter anxious and worried? Does she struggle with getting to school in the mornings or making friends? Is she more sensitive than normal, irritable and crying frequently? Having trouble sleeping? Is it hard for her to distract herself or control her thoughts? Does she seem nervous and fearful and missing out on fun activities? Are you worried, feeling overwhelmed or even frustrated because nothing seems to help? Many parents reach out because they too are worried about their child, feeling helpless and lost, trying to find the right help for their child. I help parents understand their child's behavior and find strategies that work. Hi, I’m Shelly! I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a passion for helping children and teens build confidence, manage emotions, and reach their full potential. For over 20 years, I’ve supported young people and their families through challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and life transitions—helping them find healthier ways to cope and connect. After earning my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University, I moved to Chicago to attend the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, where I earned my master’s degree in 1999 and my doctorate in 2004. From the beginning, my work has focused on understanding the emotional world of children and teens and helping families strengthen communication and resilience. I believe every child has the inner strength to grow and thrive. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in compassion and evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I work closely with both children and parents to uncover what’s behind the emotional or behavioral struggles and to develop tools that foster understanding, balance, and confidence at home and at school. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where your child feels heard and understood—and where you, as a parent, feel guided and empowered. Reaching out for therapy is a courageous step, and I’m honored to walk alongside your family on this journey toward healing and growth.
I specialize in treating mood conditions, anxiety, and attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD) through evidence-based medication management and a personalized, culturally responsive approach. I also offer advanced treatments such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (esketamine) for individuals with treatment-resistant depression. I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help, especially when you've been carrying so much on your own. You don't have to navigate this journey alone. If you're feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or simply ready for change, I invite you to take the next step—we'll move at your pace, and I'll be here to support you every step of the way.

Ah-ha! My inability to say no to others stems from wanting approval, but is leading to disinterest, resentment, and distrust in my relationships! I got it! My suppressed shame from past experiences has contributed to my inability to relax, chronic pain, and digestive issues, and I have developed fear of movement, and anxiety about my nutrition because I don’t want to make things worse! That’s it! My belief of not being good enough and fear of failure has resulted in passivity and lack of self-advocacy. It is keeping me from advancing in my career goals and achieving what I deserve! EUREKA! Together, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to discover those light bulb moments. Now- let's get to work! Healing is on the horizon. Hi! I am Dr. Tracy Aneziris. I view therapy as a journey for self-exploration and positive change. In sessions, I work as a teammate and motivator for my clients to reach their goals and improve their quality of life. My success in helping clients comes from gaining a deeper understanding about client experiences, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In addition, I help clients seek awareness about how their emotional experiences impact their biological health and functioning. With kindness, enthusiasm to succeed, and faith in all those with whom I work, I help my clients utilize their strengths to build a personal skill set to live a happier, healthier, and relaxed life. My clinical experiences include extensive work with adults in private practices and pain rehab centers, and with geriatric populations in nursing homes. I also have experience working with children, adolescents, and families in community mental health settings. I have specific training in treating depression, anxiety, chronic pain and illness, grief and loss, first responder stress, adjustment disorders in adults, and disruptive behavior and attention problems in children. In addition to therapy, I provide meditation, hypnosis, and progressive muscle relaxation services, and career guidance. I have conducted several studies and presented findings on couples coping with chronic illnesses, coping skills for chronic pain populations, intimate partner violence in adolescents and young adults, and opioid abuse. I have also presented literature and workshops on compassion fatigue, police psychology, special needs care, animal assisted therapy, adolescents transitioning out of foster care, youth bullying, mental health awareness, and chronic pain. With all clients, I encourage a healthy lifestyle. I often provide education and tools for mindfulness, pain management, sleep hygiene, nutrition, behavioral management, and journaling recommendations based on their individual needs. I look forward to working with you and appreciate your trust in me. I am hoping our collaboration will lead you to meet your goals.
While they are a vital part of our lives and can bring us so much joy - relationships are complex! Think about it - although people spend years learning and practicing most key skills, many people have had limited opportunity learning about relationships and emotional skills. I work with people who are often very successful in many aspects of their lives, but who get stuck in emotional or relational patterns. They know they desire for things to be different and more satisfying but are not quite sure how to get there. That's where therapy can be a powerful platform for change! My goal is to create a therapeutic space where people can experience themselves and others in a new, more intimate, compassionate, and meaningful way. I then support clients as they do the essential work of translating these experiences to make concrete changes in their everyday lives. I've been both a therapist and a professor. New clients repeatedly tell me that they don't want to just talk but that they want to learn "tools". My background in teaching influences my ability to help clients master the tools they need to impact the changes they want.
