Have you been discouraged by your dire trying to stop something that stresses you out through the bombardment of non-stop racing thoughts, flashbacks or even the act of over thinking situations? Consistently finding yourself trying to get out of a pool of depressive thoughts, anxiety or anger that are chronically affecting you and your family to the point of feeling lost and hopeless. In spite of having the flood of helpful and educational information “out there”, here we are, still STUCK in pain and suffering. The scars of unbearable emotional pain portray itself through our emotional, physical and spiritual health. When we try to “fix” what is outside of us, inevitably, we will continue to be stuck. When we try to look within ourselves; our emotion, thoughts or prejudgments based on our beliefs or assumption, we may challenge ourselves and ask question if what we believe, in fact is true.I hope you are willing to challenge yourself by examining your unquestioned mind. I incorporate Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed treatment Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychodynamic approach and Christ-centered counseling in my practice. As you are delving deeply into this journey of BraveWithin, you will redefine yourself that YOU ARE ENOUGH. According to whom? You decide. So, show up, back yourself up. Let’s connect and get unstuck!
I am an internationally-known couples therapist, workshop presenter, and clinical trainer. In 2010, I founded the Tikkun Learning Center, an educational institution through which I train, supervise, and consult therapists in Encounter-centered Couples Therapy (EcCT). EcCT is an extremely effective method with proven success in teaching couples who to re-create the magic of connection. EcCT is an integrative approach inspired by the philosophy of Martin Buber, as well as a variety of relational methodologies including Imago Relationship Therapy, Appreciative Inquiry, Re-evaluation Counseling, and Relational Neuro-biology. I have developed a unique, customized, transformational two-day private session for one couple. You will receive my full attention, expertise and mastery, and I will introduce you to the groundbreaking and pragmatic principle of the three invisible connectors: "the Space, the Bridge, and the Encounter."

Welcome! You’ve taken a wonderful first step in getting the support you or a loved one may need! Life can be complex and challenging, especially for children, teens, young adults, and individuals with chronic illnesses or developmental, behavioral, and intellectual challenges. If this resonates with you or someone you care about, or if you’re seeking behavioral or mental health support for yourself or a minor in your care, I am here to help. As a therapist, my goal is to create a warm, judgment-free space that empowers clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, work towards mutually established goals, and build skills. During sessions, I encourage clients to be themselves and do what they need to feel present. If you want to color, sit on the floor, wear comfortable clothes, play a game, or use a fidget toy, feel free to do so! I strive to use inclusive, neurodivergent, sensory-friendly, and developmentally appropriate techniques and treatments tailored to each client.

Together we’ll explore your feelings & thoughts while comprehending patterns in your history and life experience that have shaped you up to this moment. We’ll find a new space that feels more authentic, free, and connected through this work. We’ll manage and reduce your feelings of anxiety, depression, and other distressing thoughts. Whether this is your first time or you've decided to return to therapy, this is a strong data-backed investment into yourself and your future. You’ve already taken the first step by searching for a therapist. While reaching out to me can be difficult and anxiety-provoking, it can also empower, potentially defining the next chapter of your life. Together we'll create a space in which you’re fully heard and seen, where we start the process of uncovering exactly how you show up in your life. Thank you for taking the time.
My goal is to create an environment where you feel calm and comfortable. Entering therapy can be a little scary but my top priority is you and your comfort. The more comfortable you are the easier it is for you to share. I can laugh with you, encourage you, validate feelings of sadness, etc. I will also challenge you to be the best you possible.
