My Approach to Therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen and supported. I offer a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you can show up as you are. I work from a trauma-informed perspective, with a focus on helping you reconnect with yourself and move toward healing at your own pace. I specialize in supporting people who are working through complex trauma, borderline personality condition, anxiety, and relationship struggles. Because everyone’s story is unique, I use an integrative approach that blends different methods, including somatic practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and sensorimotor psychotherapy. In our work together, we’ll explore what feels most helpful for you, whether that’s learning tools to manage overwhelming emotions, building healthier relationships, or healing the deeper wounds that keep you feeling stuck. My goal is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and a belief in your capacity for change.

My Practice & Services

I support adults who are navigating anxiety, trauma, borderline personality condition, and relationship challenges. My work focuses on helping clients better understand their emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful change in their lives. I also work with couples who may be experiencing conflict, communication breakdowns, infidelity, or issues with trust. In our sessions, I provide a supportive and collaborative space where both individuals and couples can feel heard, understood, and guided toward healing and stronger connections.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

I have experienced mental health challenges myself, and I know how important it is to have a therapist who is compassionate and safe. Because of this, I approach therapy with empathy and respect, ensuring clients feel validated and supported throughout the therapeutic process. I see therapy as a space for self-understanding, growth, and meaningful change, helping clients build insight, resilience, and healthier relationships.
