Life can be filled with challenging moments, situations and relationships. Such encounters can cause depression, anxiety and isolation. Life events may lead to unhealthy coping mechanisms that can evolve into self-destructive behaviors or relationships. I believe that healing and insight are stimulated by an interpersonal connection provided through a therapeutic alliance between the client and the therapist. I am trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and multiple behavioral therapies. I have years of experience as a therapist working in a renowned outpatient substance abuse and mental health facility. Therapy provides support, problem solving skills and coping strategies for depression, anxiety, substance abuse, codependency, childhood trauma, grief, stress management etc. We will gain an understanding of your barriers through various therapeutic techniques. I will hold a supportive and compassionate space for you to learn, heal and grow.
