My Approach to Therapy

My approach is grounded in compassion, safety, and real, lasting change. Before we dive into the deeper work, we’ll begin by creating a foundation of calm, healthy self-care, and practical coping tools. Feeling safe and supported is essential—and that’s where we start. Once you feel more secure and grounded, we’ll begin to explore how past pain may be showing up in your present life and relationships. Together, we’ll unpack that emotional baggage, make sense of it, and organize it in a way that no longer feels overwhelming. While the pain may not fully disappear, it will lose its power to control you. You don’t have to carry it all alone. As things begin to make sense, space opens up for real healing and meaningful change.

My Practice & Services

Trauma can leave you feeling disconnected—from your emotions, your reactions, or even yourself. I help you understand what’s really happening beneath the surface by reflecting your experiences back in a clear, compassionate way. Together, we can use effective tools like the Flash Technique, an EMDR-based approach, to help your nervous system heal without having to relive the pain.

Groups I Work With

My experience is helping adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, life transitions, past traumas, and abusive relationships. I can support you in finding empowerment, creating healthy boundaries, and ultimately working towards creating healthier relationships with yourself and others. We’ll customize your therapy experience to help you get motivated. I help you connect the dots between your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences so you can understand what’s really going on beneath the surface. When things finally make sense, it becomes easier to move forward.
