We will treat you with respect and compassion and listen carefully with empathy to your problem. We will hold a safe and confidential space for you to share your thoughts and feelings. We will work together to help you become aware of your thoughts and feelings about a problem, and how to look at those problems in different, more manageable ways. Rather than adopting only one methodology for all individuals and issues, each therapist draws from a variety of methods that are most effective for each individual and situation. As social workers we take a strength perspective and focus on what your strengths are and how we can build on those strengths to reach your potential.

Our therapists are engaging, encouraging, have a sense of humor and use a strengths-based approach to therapy. Michele Purvin, LCSW-S, LCDC has over 10 years of experience as a therapist and she is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), the 12 Step Transitional Model and a certified clinical trauma professional.
