My Approach to Therapy

Making the decision to seek therapy is a big step, so many unknowns. You don't know me or how it will be when we sit down together; finding the right therapist can feel frightening. It takes courage to trust someone with your pain. Our initial meeting will be a consultation appointment. It is free and about 15-20 minutes. This is the time we can talk about what's going on for you and how I can help. You can get a sense as to whether my style and approach will fit your needs. Psychotherapy is a collaborative experience and it can transform and free up your life. It is one of the most important decisions you will make. To read more about me, please go to my web page.

My Practice & Services

My practice is now devoted to seeing couples and families who have adult children over 18. I am an integrative couples therapist, meaning I am trained in psychoanalytic couples therapy (what is shown on the Showtimes Couple Therapy series), Gottman (level 2), Emotionally Focused Therapy and PragmaticExperiential Couples Therapy (level 2). This is what is in my ‘tool box’ in individualized couples work.
