I strive to create a relaxed, supportive, and positive space for my clients during counseling. I know disclosing personal info can be tough, so I show respect, honesty, compassion, and non-judgmental listening. My goal is to make sure my clients feel heard, understood, supported, and gain valuable insights. I have 25 years of experience working with kids, teens, and adults in different settings like outpatient clinics, homecommunity, schools, psychiatric hospitals, and primary care offices. Even though I specialize in trauma counseling, I work with many clients who have anxiety, depression, mood conditions, intrusive thoughts, etc. As a trauma therapist, I work with clients experiencing past or present trauma. My expertise encompasses various forms of trauma, including sexual, physical, emotional, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) resulting from war, natural disasters, and unresolved grief. I hold certifications in somatic trauma counseling and cognitive behavioral therapy.

We’re accepting new clients! My private practice at MK Counseling Services has counselors available in the morning, afternoon, and evening (both in-person and telehealth). Our location has free and plenty of parking (handicap accessibility). The office building is quiet and private for those who prefer a more discreet setting.
