I offer therapy that helps you move forward. Whatever the frustration or challenge, we will work together to uncover the patterns shaping how you feel and relate, and find ways to shift how they shape your life now. My evidence-based approach draws upon years of training to help you identify the dynamics within yourself you may be unaware of, which quietly influence your daily life, and to awaken a fuller range of your psychological resources. This improves your ability to heal, grow through the challenges you face, and experience deeper, more meaningful connections with yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.
I am a supervising therapist with 22 years of experience. Currently, I am completing advanced training at the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago, one of the few institutes in the U.S. accredited by the American Board for Accreditation in Psychoanalysis (ABAP), the gold standard of therapy education. Coming from Mexican-American heritage, I understand how the many layers of our background weave into our inner lives now. For me, therapy is a deeply meaningful journey of becoming more attuned to these layers—engaging with the complexity and mystery of who we are in order to address life’s practical problems, and open the door to new possibilities. One of my favorite quotes is from Joseph Campbell: “We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.”
I work at Archive, a company dedicated to raising standards in therapy. We bring together rigorously trained professionals and provide therapy that is thoughtful, structured, and focused on lasting impact. Based on the idea that ‘you can only help someone as far as you have gone yourself,’ my colleagues and I seek to be on our own journey of growth, learning from great psychologists and great literature to bring perspective to our clients. At Archive, we believe that therapy is one of the most meaningful investments you can make in yourself.
