Most of my clients come to me feeling frustrated that other types of therapy have not worked for them. They're often struggling with depression, anxiety, sleep issues, and feeling triggered by reminders of past trauma. I love to equip folks with coping skills immediately and offer hope and a solid treatment plan that will give fast and effective results so that healing can begin. It is my privilege to provide a safe and supportive environment for each client that I work with. Using a down-to-earth and holistic approach to healing, I've been providing counseling services for over 12 years. I specialize in working with survivors of complex traumas such as sexual abuse, human trafficking, and domestic violence, or one-time incidents such as a car accident or a sudden loss. I am certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and I incorporate internal family systems and other modalities. I am now offering neurofeedback sessions as well, using the Neuroptimal system, in combination with EMDR or as a separate service. EMDR is a scientifically validated approach originally developed for the treatment of trauma. It can have excellent results for many people suffering from posttraumatic stress (PTSD) and other trauma-related difficulties, as well as anxiety, compulsions, addiction problems, and depression. I am invested in your healing and growth, and in improving the quality of life of the clients I work with. No matter what issues you may be experiencing, it's not too late to reach out for help!
