My Approach to Therapy

It takes courage to contact a psychotherapist. One's deepest thoughts and feelings are often uncomfortable, and making room for them can be difficult. If you’re here, though, you’re ready for a change, and I'm happy to help with that! I believe people are wired for growth and healing and that within the security of a trusting relationship, you can learn to honor your most authentic self. We explore whatever you are grappling with, whether it be anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, trauma, chronic illness, parenting, or existential questions about the life you want to lead. Nothing is off the table! I am driven by my client's needs and aspirations and grounded in evidence-based modalities, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment models, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I am also trained in climate-conscious therapy and am active with the Climate Psychology Alliance North America. I see adults, couples, older teens, and families. I am licensed in NY and MA and for telehealth in FL. Through empathic listening, thoughtful questioning, and honest feedback, I strive to help my clients attain greater insight, develop goals that are aligned with their desires, and thrive. It would be great to hear from you!
