I offer a holistic, body-centered approach for those times when talking alone is not enough. If you're feeling overwhelmed by trauma, anxiety, relationship or parenting challenges, or life transitions, you're not alone. Together, we’ll gently work with the patterns held in your body and mind to support healing, safety, and a deeper sense of connection with yourself.
Many of my clients come to me because they feel like something isn’t quite right beneath the surface, even if they’re outwardly functioning. They may be navigating the weight of unresolved trauma, persistent anxiety, relationship struggles, parenting stress, or the quiet ache of disconnection. Often, they’ve tried talk therapy or self-help tools and found that insight alone didn’t lead to real change. Understanding what it means to Be You is the driving force behind my work. There is strength and beauty in all of us, even if we cannot see or believe it. Together, we will connect and learn what it means to love and be loved for being you.
Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance
The connection between the client and their therapist represents an opportunity to create a healthy, functioning relationship in which both individuals are present and active in its development and maintenance. Some people may find it hard to trust others and part of their work will be learning how to trust their therapist. Others may feel inauthentic and powerless to speak up for themselves, and their work will be to find their power and speak their truth to their therapist. Through this process people will need to be supported to speak openly and honestly about their thoughts and feelings. The role of the therapist is to help facilitate that process by saying and doing what is right for the client.
