My Approach to Therapy

Hello! I am Baylee (sheher), a neurodivergent therapist licensed in Ohio. I received my Master of Social Work from Case Western Reserve University. While in graduate school I received my Trauma-Informed Practice certificate and was trained in Neurosequential Theory, as well as other trauma healing approaches. I am passionate about working with people across the lifespan, especially neurodivergent people. I show up as my most authentic self during session, in the hopes that you can too! My approach is to meet you where you’re at on your journey and to be a collaborative support as you work toward your goals. I am identity-affirming and trauma-informed in my practice. I know that you are the expert of yourself, and I will honor your expertise as I walk with you on your journey of healing. I’m passionate about supporting those who have been through life’s hardships. I believe in an empowerment lens and use that in my approach when working with individuals. I believe that our bodies and minds are in direct connection to each other. Have you ever felt disconnected from your body? My hope is to support you as you reconnect with your body and mind using somatic and trauma-informed approaches. Everyone deserves the chance to heal and become their best self, and to rediscover their voice. You deserve to remember that you are enough. Whether you’ve experienced childhood trauma, struggled to navigate this world as a neurodivergent person, felt grief and loss, experienced challenges with new changes in life, or felt abandoned, I am here for you. If you’re struggling with self-injury, body image challenges, or having difficult coping skills, I want to offer a safe and judgement free place of healing for you. If you feel I would be a good fit for you, please reach out! I can’t wait to meet you.

My Practice & Services

Reclaimed Divergence exists as a safe mental health space for anyone who is looking for one. We are intentional about selecting practitioners who have a special insight and experience into what our clients are facing, beyond their professional training. We have created this practice as a place to improve health outcomes for individuals who have struggled to find a practitioner that they felt safe with. We are passionate about affirming identities, celebrating special interests, and providing a safe space where you never have to wonder if you will be understood, accepted, and cared for.

My Therapy Focus

My therapeutic focus is relational-based driven. I believe in the power of connection and understanding. I seek to listen to your experiences and offer support when needed. I believe that you are the expert of your life and experiences. I look forward to getting to know you.
