My approach to therapy is collaborative, culturally-informed, and interpersonally dynamic. I usually operate from a cognitive-behavioral approach and takes into consideration the relational dynamic between myself and client in the room, as well as the clients’ relationships outside of therapy. My specialties include identity development, interpersonal conflicts, sexuality, relationship status, religious or spiritual beliefs, anxiety, depression, racial or ethnic identity concerns, low self-esteem, and stress. I have also trained extensively in faith-based interventions and works collaboratively with clients to integrate their spiritual beliefs into their treatment, if relevant. I work primarily with adults and couples from a variety of different cultural backgrounds and demographics.
