My Approach to Therapy

Amy Mosset is a Master Practitioner in clinical counselling and a Registered Professional Counsellor. She is a member in good standing of the Canadian Professional Counsellors’ Association and has completed her schooling through the Kelowna College of Professional Counselling. She is extremely passionate about supporting people through times of difficulty and hardship. Amy loves being a counsellor. She is extremely passionate about each and every one of her clients and their mental health well-being. That passion drives her to build strong relationships with the people that she sees, creating a comfortable environment that will allow you to be vulnerable and create the personal growth you are seeking. Amy specializes in complex family issues, couples, and co-parenting. She is currently not accepting clients for individual counselling, couples/marriage counselling, co-parent counselling, and family counselling. You can see Amy in office, via online video chat, or have a phone session! Amy is all about family! She lives in Kelowna with her husband, two sons, and two dogs, Mr. Maxwell James, our co-counsellor in training (therapy dog to be), and Mini Mr. Tucker Cooper (therapy dog to be). When she isn’t working, you will find Amy playing or coaching her kids' sports, hiking, or wake surfing. Outside has always been a happy place for Amy, and she loves to explore whenever possible. And boy, is she an animal person! You will nearly always find a dog or two (although she wants three or four) by her side. She is excited to be training Mr. Maxwell James and Mr Tucker Cooper to be part of our practice, as having a therapy dog can be of great benefit to our clients’ mental health. Amy welcomes you to Interactive Counselling and is excited to work with you! Amy is a counsellor in our Kelowna location but offers online services to all of our office locations. Amy has been voted Kelowna’s best marriage, couples, and relationship counsellor numerous times.
