Welcome to a Space of Healing and Empowerment In a world that too often tries to dictate who we should be, finding a space where you can explore and celebrate your authentic self is more than a necessity—it's your right. Amidst the turmoil of anti-trans legislation and societal challenges, this is a haven where your journey to self-love and connection is honored. As someone who has navigated these treacherous waters myself, I deeply understand the importance of a sanctuary where your identity is not just accepted but celebrated. This online therapy space is crafted to be your refuge from hate, a place where we stand united against discrimination and oppression, striving not just for survival but for thriving. Together, we'll embark on a path of healing, discovering the quiet joy and resilience that exists in every moment of authenticity. Embracing Our Collective Journey Hi, I’m a psychotherapist proudly serving the trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive community across Canada. My personal and professional life has been a testament to the power of community support and understanding. I am here to offer that same nurturing guidance, helping you to heal from past pain and embrace a future of wellness and joy. By employing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including art, music, and experiential work, we'll forge a path to healing grounded in collective wisdom and individual strength. With over 5,000 hours of clinical experience and specialized training in trauma processing methods like Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, I aim to provide a balanced and sensitive approach to your healing journey. My practice is built on a foundation of 2SLGBTQIA+ advocacy, anti-racism, anti-oppression, and disability justice, all aiming at constructing a more equitable future for mental health care. A Commitment to 2SLGBTQIA+ Healing and Growth My services extend into empowering mental health professionals to deepen their understanding and effectiveness in providing gender-affirming care. Offering peer consultations, I bring a wealth of knowledge in trauma-informed, neurodivergent-friendly, and anti-oppressive practices, enabling therapists to cultivate a supportive environment for their trans and gender-diverse clients. Celebrating Your Path to Authenticity As a certified member of WPATH, I adhere to the highest standards of gender-affirming mental health practice. Through my consultation services, individuals seeking to explore their medical transition options can do so in a thoughtful, supportive environment.
