I am a warm and compassionate person, and I strive to make my clients comfortable and heard during each session. I want to be part of their support system and assist with improving emotional health.
I utilize an assertive communication style to promote confidence and self-awareness. I utilize "I" statements to show clients respect and not violate their rights. Additionally, showing clients respect and listening attentively to their needs is how I build a good rapport with them.
For 40 years I have been serving my community as a psychologist in private practice. My expertise is in helping individuals who are suffering with anxiety, depression and negative self image begin to see themselves differently and learn how they can take charge of their lives and experience the joy they were intended to feel. Working with a number of different modalities, my clients learn how to free themselves from negative and limiting self concepts. I take a very spiritual approach to my work. As a trinity, body, mind and spirit, shifting ones perspective and beginning to operate from a higher view often helps one overcome what seemed at one time to be impossible. We are joy seeking beings because joy is our natural state. When we once again come to know our true nature, we will naturally begin to feel more alive, joyful and ultimately more fulfilled.

WE CAN HELP HEAL YOUR RELATIONSHIP. "Why does my partner overreact?" "Why do I get so triggered?" "How come the punishment doesn't fit the crime?" “Why can’t he be more supportive?” “Is anything I do ever enough for her?” While you are feeling hurt, you have an added layer of confusion. You simultaneously love your partner and even hope to stay in this relationship to keep your love, family, and dreams intact. You are torn in a tug-of-war of emotions and desire to feel understood, accepted, and embraced by your partner. HEAL YOUR RELATIONSHIP AT ITS ROOT! Your dynamic is being driven by vulnerable and deep emotions. Those deep emotions are sensitive ‘raw spots' that are easily provoked and can cause you intolerable emotional discomfort- and leads to a “fight-or-flight” (anxious, angry, avoidant) response. This starts a negative cycle that creates more distance between you. CHANGE IS POSSIBLE! In therapy with us, you will learn strategies to respond differently and avoid slipping into old negative cycles of criticism, questioning, defensiveness, shutting down, and avoidance. We’ve helped HUNDREDS of people experience EMOTIONAL INTIMACY by learning how to effectively share and receive each other’s deeper emotions.
