Hi, I’m Marnie Fulton, an LCSW practicing in both Georgia and Florida. I work with clients ages 18 and up and am a collaborative provider, engaging with you in developing treatment goals and working with you toward meeting these goals.
My goal and mission are to help people to improve their lives by working through their challenges and learning different techniques to build coping and resilience to improve their life experiences. My focus is on meeting people where they are and helping them to improve their quality of life. My background includes work in outpatient settings, inpatient hospitals, college counseling settings, and in my own private practice. I have studied at Syracuse University and have my degree in Psychology, and also studied at the top social work school in the country, the University of Michigan. I gather inspiration from a variety of backgrounds and techniques but have found that individuals have a great deal of success when we work on the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Do you ever worry that a therapist won’t truly understand you—or that you’ll need to censor yourself in order to be accepted? I used to feel the same way, and that experience inspired me to become a psychotherapist and life coach who creates a safe, judgment-free space for people just like you. Whether you're seeking immediate, practical solutions or long-term healing, we’ll work together in a calm, supportive environment to uncover the clarity and tools you need to build a more fulfilling life. My therapeutic approach is tailored to your unique needs and draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), reality-based therapy, and solution-focused techniques. But the heart of my practice is you. Your voice, values, and goals guide our work—because therapy should reflect your journey, not someone else’s idea of healing. Choosing therapy is a powerful investment in your well-being—your time, energy, and courage to change. When life becomes overwhelming, talking to someone who truly listens can make all the difference. Let's take that first step together. Reach out today—your healing begins here.
I'm both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who enjoys helping people of all ages and stages, including teens, adults, couples, and families. The goal of my therapy is to build trust and a working alliance so together we can process unresolved issues and replace present behaviors, emotions, and thoughts causing distress with more effective coping strategies and ways of being that empower you to live the life you've always wanted. My therapy styles include both cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), while being solution-focused and client-centered. I make sure you're heard and understood.
In the past number of years, I have witnessed many individuals, children, couples and families work successfully through a variety of life's challenges in my office. I help collaborate with those I work with to give them each the tools to move away from their "stuckness" and towards their goals in life. I aim to provide a safe and comfortable environment where you can feel that your voice is being heard and your therapeutic needs are being met. I often joke with new clients that my goal is to have them "fire me as soon as possible so you can go on with your life as you truly want it to be!" I will work with you to identify your goals, strengths and resources while guiding you through whatever is holding you back from where you want to be in life as an individual, couple or family. I take great pride in the respect I give each person I meet and deeply enjoy the word I do in session each day.

I am here to support children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am certified as a trauma specialist and a brainspotting practitioner for children, adolescents, and adults. I incorporate a holistic approach, mind-body and spiritual alternative therapies such as meditation groups and meditation and art groups. I value being compassionate and respecting where people are in their journey and creating a safe space for children, adolescents, and adults. I value, appreciate, and respect the gift of neurodiversity as we are meant to honor and accept our differences. I also believe that we all have a "Healing Intelligence" within, moving us toward healing and growth. My role is not to "fix" the client or to tell them what's wrong. Instead, I act as a facilitator, helping the client connect with this powerful inner guide within themselves. I trust the client's process and their ability to access this deep knowing that will guide them towards their own well-being.
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed lens that honors both the pain and resilience shaped by your life experiences. Many of my clients come to me feeling unseen, overextended, or burdened by expectations—often carrying the weight of childhood responsibility, grief, or unresolved guilt. Together, we explore these experiences with compassion and curiosity, helping you reconnect with your emotions, rebuild trust in yourself, and find steadiness in the present moment. If you’ve experienced trauma, loss, or life changes that left you feeling disconnected or “not yourself,” I am here to help. You don’t have to carry it alone. Please call for a phone consultation or email and move forward in your life.
I truly believe that life is comparable to a journey. As we learn new skills we increase our ability to maneuver around major obstacles, and if we are headed for disaster it is imperative that we change our direction. My therapeutic style is based on the principles of self-respect, personal responsibility, and honesty. However, my professional experience has taught me that effective therapy is a two way street. The therapist and the person in treatment must collaborate in order to get the most out of each session. It is true that making lasting positive changes requires great effort and commitment. Nevertheless, I will provide the tools, professional support, and advice you need as you make each step on your personal journey to health and happiness.
