Hello! I’m Stacey Greer, a licensed clinical social worker with 12 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges.
Hi all! My name is Christina Manning, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, community-based sites, and school-based sites.
My name is Tonya Bell. I am a licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience working with various populations. I'm passionate about working with clients to see the beautiful journey of finding their own self-worth and finding while developing tangible coping skills and learning how to be present as their genuine selves.
My experience as a therapist has been filled with working in group homes, school settings, office settings, and community settings with children, adolescents, and adults. I understand that overcoming mental health issues is a collaboration and not a one-sided interaction. My extensive work with clients is comprised of managing anxiety disorders, depression disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and numerous other personality and mood disorders. My therapeutic approach includes person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based therapy, and reality therapy. I believe that everyone’s emotional, mental, and physical health matters. As an eclectic therapist, striking a balance between working with evidence-based theories and individual preferences is supremely important. I believe in the significance of helping others feel inner peace and find purpose in life. I can successfully work with many individuals. The population that I work best with are people that are open to change and challenging themselves. Although I don't usually assign homework, I often try to individualize my approach to the person I'm helping. I believe keeping an open mind and ear are important for both sides of the therapeutic interaction. I maintain that the therapeutic process is helped when those I aid are able to understand that perfection is not the objective, but that aiming toward being a more well-rounded individual is the goal. My communication style is direct and supportive. I believe that motivating, coaching, and educating my clients is essential to helping them progress. Astute, tolerant, observation and genuine listening help me find creative options for those I support. I explain my expectations for communication, attendance, client privileges, and confidentiality in the initial session.
Hi! I am Dr. Malissa Collins, a licensed professional counselor(LPC) in Georgia specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. My approach is warm and compassionate. My focus is to meet clients where they are and teach them ways to successfully navigate through life to meet goals. I have experience working with individuals from various backgrounds, families, and couples. My Ph.D. is in Marriage and Family Therapy. My clients appreciate my warmth, nonjudgmental style. It helps to make them feel relaxed and confident. I knew in high school that I wanted a career in the psychology industry because my friends told me I had a natural “knack” for listening and helping. They would say, “You’re easy to talk to”…my drive comes from living my purpose. I find value in helping others reach happiness. Because I primarily use CBT strategies to help clients reach therapy goals, the focus begins with cognitive restructuring…awareness of potential faulty core beliefs about self and the world. My first sessions include getting to know you as a partner in this therapeutic relationship. This means I will ask questions to learn as much about you as possible. The goal is to build trust in each other.
My name is Denise Hill. I’ve been licensed as a Clinical Social Worker since 2009 and nationally certified as a Master Addiction Counselor since 2016. My passion is providing therapy services to clients to help them reach their goals and improve their lives. I use a variety of modalities including interpersonal therapy, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavior therapy. My clients may struggle with anxiety, depression, managing stress, or working through stage-of-life difficulties. They may have identified that alcohol or drugs are having more influence in their life than they’d prefer or are resulting in negative consequences. My first career was in the field of cancer data programs; I worked with physicians, data, and department heads. As much as I enjoyed this career, there came a point when I wanted to work directly with patientsclients. I went back to school and here I am! Goal setting is collaborative between the client and therapist and is ongoing throughout the therapeutic relationship. My first goal is to assist clients in identifying the concerns that brought them to therapy and help them outline what they hope to achieve. Another is to begin the process of creating a trusting rapport which facilitates successful therapy.
I'm glad you stopped by! I'm an Arkansas native (most people never met anyone from there) while going to college and living in Louisiana for a number of years before moving to Georgia over 10 years ago. I have been a therapist for over 15 years and I've worked in almost every setting of mental health except with inpatient hospitalization treatment. I have also worked with varying ages and backgrounds. I'm licensed in several states and have specializations in Anger Management, Supervision, and EMDR. My approach is very person-centered with a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, and Emotionally Focused. I believe in working with clients where they are and helping them along their own therapeutic journey. So you're the driver of your own car! I believe the approach depends on whomever I am working with and their need at the present moment. Though eclectic in nature the modalities I most often utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Client Centered. I have only one request for clients: Be open to the process! Other than that, I have and will work with pretty much anyone who meets that requirement. I have a very fun-loving tone and demeanor but I can also be very assertive in order to help you along the therapeutic process when necessary. I listen actively and with great intent so I'm able to help piece information together in an organized fashion even when thought processes may be disorganized or scattered. I always had a natural affinity for helping people as long as I can remember! It didn't take me long to figure out after writing my senior paper in high school about Sigmund Freud what I needed to do! Once I was clear, I made a plan and completed my BA in Psychology and got an MA in Counseling from the same institution. I tell people therapy chose me! I know that working in this field is definitely a calling and not just a career choice (at least for me anyway). Successful care is when a client is more self-aware about who they are as an authentic person and not afraid to walk in their truth. By being able to express that to others and not be limited by both internalexternal factors, one can live an overall healthy life. The first session with me isn't a typical, formal experience. I like to think of two people just having a "conversation ". Although I do like to get a sense of your background, who you are, and what you may have challenges with, I believe developing a good rapport and healthy therapeutic connection is vital from the beginning.
I work with each client as a team effort. Each client I see has their own story and unique perspective on that story, and I believe that within that story are the seeds to healing. My approach to helping my clients is in seeing each of my clients as a whole person who is struggling with something, whether it is anxiety, depression, relationships issues, substance abuse, communication, parenting, trauma, etc. Most often it is how we perceive a situation or a struggle that defines how we deal with it or respond to it. I hope that I can help you with whatever your struggle may be, and to help you rewrite your story. My favorite book of all time is Viktor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning. One of the many wonderful things he says in that book is "When we are no longer able to change a situation we are challenged to change ourselves."
I have extensive experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), existential and psychodynamic modalities, and years of outpatient clinic work with clients with mood issues, trauma, anxiety conditions, and life transition problems. I offer client-focused therapy, psychoeducational, and coaching. I'm here to help you become the best version of yourself- to overcome problems and grow from them.
I work with variety of issues and I specialize in couple therapy. I use an eclectic approach. My sessions are strictly tailored to the client’s personality, treatment needs, and goals. My focus is to restructure unproductive cognitions that create roadblocks to success and cause my clients to suffer. My extensive training allows me to use a variety of tools and methods that are mostly directed at promoting a healthy self-image and a positive mindset. My work with clients is focused on moving clients from the life they tolerate to the life they want. Informal. I’m funny. I smile and laugh. Many of my clients made comments that I’m easy to talk to and they feel accepted and understood. I listen very carefully to your story so I can show you the solution. Your questions as “why it happened” or “why I think or act this way” will be explained to you. I will educate you how to use the right tools to become the “ideal you”, a person you want to be! Well, it was pretty easy for me. When I was 15 years old I noticed I would gravitate towards reading psychology and psychiatry books that my parents had in their library. One day as I remember clearly I stared at one page of a book I held in my hands and made a decision to become a counselor! My goal is to educate you on how your mind works and what you are subconsciously looking for. I want to show you that therapy can surpass your expectations. I’m here to place you on the road you have been looking for. In the first session, we get to know each other! I pay full attention to listening and doing my observation. I would ask intake questions and gather some information while we discuss the issue you are dealing with.
You are not alone; We are in this together! Your growth is important to me. Welcome, I would like to commend you for making the first step in seeking support and change. Give yourself a pat on the back. It took much courage to get this far. As a licensed professional counselor, certified in working with Diverse populations, I empower, support, and provide guidance to groups and individuals to help them overcome personal obstacles through tele-therapy. I will use a variety of theories and interventions to facilitate in helping you heal and achieve your personal goals. I have worked with adults, teens, and children in helping identify behaviors and thought patterns that interfere with meeting their goals. I work with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, ADHD, defiance, trauma, co-parenting, relationship issues, behavioral issues, transition issues, attachment issues, and grief. As a therapist, I understand everyone’s journey is different. Allow me to walk with you as we explore the different ways to achieve treatment goals based on the changes that you’d like to make in your life. The practice is dynamic and impactful. You are not alone; We are in this together! Your growth is important to me.
My name is Lina Munoz and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Atlanta, Georgia, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I provide trauma-informed therapy to youth, adults, and families from different cultural backgrounds. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client and family I work with. I most frequently use a systemic and psychodynamic approach, as both modalities help me and the client build a shared understanding of the underlying issues and elements that are limiting their functioning, taking into consideration personal and environmental factors that influence behavior and performance. I allow special emphasis on the emotional experiences of my clients and how these emotional experiences inter-relate and impact their relationships.
