My approach in therapy is collaborative, supportive, and goal oriented.
I believe that there is a place in all of us that carries more wisdom than we are usually aware of. It is this place that I try to help people connect with so as to get the answers they are looking for in order to move forward and live more meaningful lives.
As a mental health professional in the age of the new millenium, I would describe my approach to helping people as integrative and holistic. As a therapist, I think it is crucial to create a loving, safe environment for each individual. Then specific to each individual, I create a plan integrating cognitive behavioral techniques, psychotherapy, visualization, relaxation, EMDR, hypnosis and reiki. Together with the client, we create a new positive self-image that can completely transform an individual's life. As Nelson Mandela said," Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure".
Coping with toxic work environments can start to take a toll on a person's physical and mental health over time. That's where I step in to support you over the course of six months to understand financial trauma, burnout and scarcity mindset. You are not alone in your pain of feeling stuck and overwhelmed. So many people have felt beaten down by their jobs with no place to turn to except for the option of finding another job. I specialize in helping clients gain the awareness between their past financial trauma and their current thought patterns so that they can make more informed and beneficial decisions for themselves. I also am the creator of the podcast The Soft Abundance Show on Spotify. Feel free to book a free consultation with me or reach out via the platform. I practice financial transparency and the session rate is $75 for a 30 minute session not including the tax. Sending you lots of abundance!
I believe the therapeutic relationship is paramount for treatment to be successful. I aim to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive environment to get to know you and develop our alliance. I join you on your life path with empathy and understanding. We will work together to move you forward in your health and wellness. Some modalities I use in my work include, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma-Focused, and Strength-Based Practices. During our work together, you will be able to express yourself in a non-judgmental space. We will collaborate to establish goals during the course of treatment, such as developing coping skills, gaining insight into feelings, and attaining an overall sense of wellness. I will guide you in the direction you want go and help you recognize your strengths and achievements; therefore, using them to foster your growth.
My approach to therapy is Humanistic-Existential. Therapy in my view is a sacred journey to the core of one's being in search of meaning. Not unlike other explorations, here too, desire, determination, planning, and a roadmap are needed. Your therapist plays a critical role in planning and mapping your most crucial journey. There are times when psychological anguish has reached an overwhelming point by the time therapy begins. There, the 1st priority of therapy is to help the client to unpack the message enveloped in suffering. Therapy can help bring the realization that pain is the prelude to true awakening without which there can be no lasting clarity to light up your path in life. My beloved mystic, Rumi says it most eloquently in "only when you break you let the light in".
My approach to helping my clients is nonjudgmental, strength-based, and curious. Through the use of several psychodynamic approaches and applied Jungian analysis, I am able to help clients transform their lives by exploring their self-concept and improving their self-esteem. I believe that a nonjudgmental approach helps us uncover painful patterns and past experiences while fostering sustainable self-reflection.
